OSI Food Solutions Company has been on a rising trend on the Forbes list of top 100 private companies in the United States hitting an all-time-high 58th position in 2016. The company credits this achievement to its expanded operations, ever-increasing annual sales and its large pool of employees. Currently, the food processor employs over 20,000 employees to man their 65 production centers located in different parts of the world.
Double chicken production capacity
In readiness to take over the global meat distribution industry, OSI food solutions company has been involved in several strategic growth initiatives. This includes the diversification of their products base by embracing the production of more meat products and incorporating poultry and pork to its existing list. More importantly, the company recently doubled its chicken production capacity in Spain and is now processing over 24,000 tons of chicken products annually, a shift from the 12,000 products it previously produced.
